How Much Does a Face Lift Cost – What Is the Price of Facelift Surgery?

The average cost of a facelift is $7,048, according to 2016 statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Facelift costs can vary widely. The average fee referenced above does not include anesthesia, operating room facilities or other related expenses.

A facelift can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $15,000 based on the extent of treatment, the geographic location of the practice, and many other factors.
No one is immune to the effects of aging, and the face is one of the first areas that begins to show wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity. A facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical means of turning back the clock by removing excess skin, repositioning underlying tissues, and tightening remaining tissue to restore a refreshed, youthful facial appearance.

Because every patient has different needs and goals, a facelift can often involve much more than just tissue removal and repositioning. In some instances, liposuction, or the surgical removal of fat deposits, may be necessary. Other patients choose to incorporate cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), while others may wish to undergo a chemical peel to reduce acne scarring, or injectable treatments like BOTOX® Cosmetic to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. All of these additional treatments can increase the cost of a facelift.

Although cost is important, patients should define their goals. It’s quite easy to put a price on revision facelift surgery, and in most cases, it costs far more than an outstanding first surgery.

Some Facelift Doctors will say you cannot put a price on your own personal satisfaction and the boosted self-esteem that expertly performed plastic surgery can provide. That it should be viewed as an investment in yourself, rather than a reason to begin hunting for a bargain. Well, why do you think they would say that?

You don’t necessarily have to pay a colossal sum in order to achieve results that provide you with long-term satisfaction. For some people a facelift is the best choice and the best way to go. For others there are options that not only are less expensive but do not include surgery or using a surgeon at all.

Less Expensive Options – Excellent Results – No Pain…Wait What?

No pain because it is not surgery.  Which mean minimal recovery and healing time that will take hours, less facelift cost and expense.  You will not need to get financing to create a younger, more youthful appearance.

You can speak to a doctor that is an expert in non-surgical facelifts, non-surgical butt lifts, and non-surgical breast lifts.  Dr. William Clearfield and the Clearfield Medical Group offers non-surgical facelift options to help you achieve your goals.

The Y Lift

The Y Lift® is a remarkable procedure that truly fills in a very important void when it comes to addressing facial aging issues. First and foremost, the Y Lift® is not a surgery, or a surgical procedure. The Y Lift® makes used of injectable hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Juvederm and Voluma, in a method called structural volumizing. The fillers are inject at a deeper level, below the facial muscles and above the facial bones. This area offers more strength and support, as opposed to placing the filler in the soft tissue.

Treatment areas and goals include improvement of the jawline, the cheekbones, the vertical part of the jawbone, and the chin. With a full procedure, it can have the overall effect of looking like a facelift. Though there is still some skepticism regarding this procedure, and many believe that the before and after photos they see are manipulated. I can tell you, based on firsthand experience, that this is not true.

The price of a Y Lift® procedure depends on several factors. If you were to have a full Y Lift® , it includes the cheeks, jaw and chin. You may also have the Y Lift® concept in specific areas, so you won’t need the whole procedure.  You may be concerned about the amount of fillers used, but if you look at the before and after photos, the patients do not look pillowy because we do structural volumizing deep in the face, and not soft tissue volumizing in the superficial layers of the skin.

Keep in mind as well that not all people who come for a Y Lift® consultation will be advised to do the whole face. The Y Lift® , in so many ways, is also a method which really allows someone like myself to provide solutions for segments of the face. For example, for patients who have defined jawlines, and only need more cheek volume, we can limit the procedure to the cheek area alone will need less filler material than a full procedure.
